- Quotation issued from the UK to the end customer
ORDER RECEIVED
- Contract review carried out in both UK and China
- Order acknowledgement issued to end customer with all lead times confirmed
- Tooling manufactured and samples produced from tooling
- Samples issued to QA department for customer specific inspection
- ISIR / PPAP / SPC data published and samples shipped for customer approval
SAMPLE APPROVAL
- Work plans, visible documented work instructions and assembly documentation issued to production
- Production lead times confirmed and agreed
- Production commences
- Production run commences with finished product then issued to QA department
- Required QA checks and documentation produced and goods released for shipment
- All shipments agreed with UK logistics department who arrange for goods to be directed as required by the customer
- Goods received into our warehousing and random batch inspection carried out by UK engineering department. Goods then released for shipment or into stock
- Ongoing contractual supply then established to customer requirement - Kanban, JIT or line side
- Ongoing engineering, quality and logistics support
