The CEL Group operates three UK based limited companies all located in Telford, Shropshire.

China Enterprise UK Ltd

China Enterprise UK Ltd owns and operates its own modern 200,000 sq ft (18,600 sq mtrs) manufacturing facility in China. We take sub-contract customer manufacturing to China to reduce costs and improve bottom line customer profits.

In-house manufacturing in China includes sheet metalwork and tubular manipulation, pressed parts & tooling, turned parts, full fabrication facilities, welding, plastic injection molding and tool making as well as assembly lines for final assembly and electromagnetic integration. We also offer product consolidation for onwards shipping.

Fully ISO 9001 certified and we hold quality approval certificates for many large “blue chip” OEM's globally. We also hold both import and export licenses for China and ship products globally.

We handle and control all engineering and manufacturing processes, all consolidation and shipping details and duty payments. Our prices reflect this service. We offer to carry a UK stockholding against customer order, deliver and operate customer kanban systems or direct to line call offs as well as direct shipping if preferred.

Your interface on any level would be with us here in Telford as we have UK staff running and continuously working within the factory in China. We feel we are a unique business in offering a sub-contract manufacturing service from China.

CEL Sheetmetal Ltd

CEL Sheetmetal Ltd is a state of the art UK based sheet metal manufacturing business.

In-house capabilities include laser cutting (including our new addition to the cutting department a new state of the art 5kw Trumpf laser cutting centre), CNC punching complete with a sheet feeding system for lights out production, tubular laser cutting and tubular manipulation, CNC press braking, spot welding, stud welding and pemserting. We also have a complete welding department as well as all onwards fabrication capabilities.

Similarly to our sister company we offer to carry stockholding against customer order. We also deliver and operate kanban systems or direct to line call offs as required.

This offers you the best of both worlds - suitable volume products produced in China with UK back up, plus the potential to prototype and transfer builds to our factory in China as well as having UK manufactured parts.

CEL Logistics Ltd

CEL Logistics Ltd is able to integrate the benefits of all Group companies into one package. We can unify a supply chain of items from the Group China factory, from other quality approved sources from low-cost manufacturing economies as well as its Group sheet metal manufacturing facility.

Utilising and managing this potential multi-discipline supply chain we are able to produce complete assemblies and builds to customer specification. We also handle testing regimes and controlling the quality of product supplied to the customer. Again similarly to our sister companies we offer to carry stockholding against customer order. We also deliver and operate kanban systems or direct to line call offs as required.

We are therefore able to offer you the cost reduction benefit of builds that are potentially too large in size to ship cost effectively from offshore. Our engineering and logistics knowledge and experience can overcome these problems.
